Advancing the role of Pre-School Teachers in the Community
Tabika 21 Project is stuctured as a collaborative effort between the government (JPNIN) and the private sector (Educational Trend Sdn Bhd) to meet emerging demands of malaysia as a nation focusing on the following areas:
- Developing the country into a knowledge-based economy and society.
- Narrowing the performance disparity for the 520,000 pre-school students that enter year one of primary schools yearly.
- Providing a positive and early exposure advantage for children and families to the internet global connectivity.
- Providing a 'continuous learning' environment and opportunities to pre-school teachers in rural areas.
- Promoting 'life-long' learning through internet-based and part-time courses.
